



Lawrence E. Brecht, D.D.S. is the Director of Maxillofacial Prosthetics in the Advanced Education Program in Prosthodontics at New York University College of Dentistry, where he also is a Clinical Associate Professor of Prosthodontics and Occlusion. Dr. Brecht has been a member of the NYU faculty since 1987 and also holds a joint appointment at the Institute of Reconstructive Plastic Surgery of NYU School of Medicine where he is Director of the Center for Craniofacial Prosthetics and serves on the Institute's Cleft Palate, Craniofacial and Ear Anomalies teams.
Additionally, Dr. Brecht maintains a practice limited to Prosthodontics and Maxillofacial Prosthetics at New York City Prosthodontics in Manhattan, where he has been a partner since 1989. A frequent contributor to both facial plastic surgery and prosthodontic literature, Dr. Brecht has authored numerous journal articles, textbook chapters and abstracts, and has lectured internationally to dentists, plastic surgeons and dental students.
